Gap Year

If you're unsure about your career path after finishing school, taking time out to travel and explore the wider world is an incredibly worthwhile experience.

We have cherry picked some of our trusted network of employers to create an exciting new pathway for a Gap Year with intensive training in cookery or hospitality followed by seasonal work placement in some of New Zealand's most exciting places or in Canada.

The skills and character traits required to work in hospitality roles will benefit ANY career. These include customer relationships, working within and supervising a team, understanding the needs of a business, and how to become a competent and highly valued staff member.
