Cookery Courses

NZSFW offers several different levels of NZQA accredited full-time cookery courses. Students can enrol directly into each level of the study pathway and continue only as far as they need. These NZQA courses are eligible student loans and allowances for New Zealand Residents.

The New Zealand Certificate  Level 3 programme (18 weeks) forms the first semester of the Certificate in Cookery Advanced Level 4. Students can enrol for this programme or directly for the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery Advanced Level 4 course of 36 weeks.

The New Zealand Diploma of Cookery Level 5 runs over 4 days each week of which one of these days is a work-based practicum.

Certificate in Cookery, Foundation

Learn the foundation cookery skills to begin your culinary career and give you confidence in a professional kitchen. Have fun learning these fundamental techniques and go on to work experience placement for two weeks. Follow this course with the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery Advanced Level 4.
