Over 5 days, students will be introduced to the world of mixology and bartending and gain an NZQA Accredited Micro-Credential with 5 Credits at Level 4.
The Certificate in Spirits, Cocktails, and Bartending (micro-credential) provides practical, hands-on training in bartending, product knowledge as well as customer service and communication skills for people wishing to work in bars and restaurants. Classic cocktails form the focus of this practical training.
Students lean to serve, advise and prepare a wide selection of alcohol-based drinks including cocktails and liqueurs. This micro-credential will build on the host responsibility requirements of the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012 by giving learners a better understanding of host responsibility as an important aspect of customer service.
