School Holiday STAR Programmes July 2025

In the recent July school holidays, high school students from various schools took part in our Secondary School Holiday STAR Programmes, designed to equip them with skills for the workforce.

In our Café Cooking 101 course, students practiced their knife skills, basic food safety training & learnt how to make delicious & classic café dishes such as:

  • Classic Mayonnaise
  • Potato Salad
  • Cheese Scones
  • Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies
  • Shortcrust Pastry
  • Eggs Benedict

Students had fun mixing beverages & learning how to prepare & serve a selection of classic mocktails in our training restaurant/bar. Our popular Mocktail & Bartending course also includes a restaurant service workshop where you will learn how to set tables, interact with customers, take orders and present food and drinks.
